Oppo, I have a very bad feeling about this. My wife’s car was totaled right when we were in the process of buying this house so we had to pay cash for the replacement. That means she has a car that she could make do with, not one she really wanted. Lately she’s been dropping a lot of hints, and they all point to one make of car. Audi.

Sigh.

First she flipped for an RS5 that was in traffic. Understandable and no problem there since there’s no way in hell we could get one of those. Then it was Q3s and Q5s. Now she’s haunting the CarMax site like an Oppo on Facebook Marketplace. I don’t have any leverage in this since I bought a BMW which is not exactly Toyota. This would mean  both of our main cars would be German. I foresee a CarMax warranty in our future.

If I had just bought the Honda instead of the BMW I would have a little more standing to argue. Now I’m stuck at “don’t do what I do” though my BMW has been perfectly fine. So far.
